​Professional and Volunteering Experience

​

Aircraft Manufacturing, Hydraulics Leader (May 2008 – Present),

Sikorsky Aircraft, Lockheed Martin Company, Jupiter, FL

 

  • Lead final assembly and manufacturing processes in assembly, testing, modifications, and troubleshooting major systems, including but not limited to fuel, hydraulic, pitot/static, pneumatic, lubrication, ventilation, structure, avionics, across all new manufactured Sikorsky Aircraft models 

  • Assembly operations and functional check-out leader for over 500 aircraft assemblies including H92, CH-53K, UH-60 helicopter programs

  • Performed production, repairs, and modifications to various aircraft systems utilizing technical orders and directives, operating instructions, and service manuals in conjunction with graphics and blueprints to complete sequential aircraft builds

  • Main point of contact to management for directing workload, performing jobs, and managing build schedule to accomplish goals

  • Assisted in altering and reevaluating plans to improve build quality and productivity

  • Team leader present during the closing of Florida Assembly and Flight Operations and adapted and established the new Sikorsky West Palm Beach site

  • Hydraulics team leader in fastest Blackhawk production in the history of Sikorsky Aircraft in late 2018/early 2019

  • Discovered critical engineering flaw (2021), and assisted engineering with applying remedy for changes

  • Participated in root cause, continuous improvement, and kaizen events to uncover and fix problems in production

  • Generated and maintained aircraft removal, production, and maintenance records using Solumina proprietary software

  • Assisted in the development and implementation functional checks on developmental, production, and modified aircraft systems

  • Supported AS9100 audits and represented workforce by meeting with auditing staff

  • Worked closely with FOD management to implement new FOD processes and controls to eliminate migration

  • Practiced FOD prevention, risk reduction, and followed GOSM and DCMA policies to maintain quality relationship with customers

 

Grow Leader, Volunteer, Church Counsel (June 2023 – June 2024),

The Gathering Place, United Methodist Church, Palm Beach Gardens, FL

  • Appointed position for leading spiritual growth and maturity of congregation with church governance voting privilege

  • Assisted in replanting church from sale of property and divesting leaders

  • Assisted in reorganizing the liturgy of Sunday service

  • Led three classes, directed one public prayer, and delivered one informal message to congregation

  • Organized $20,000 yearly budget

  • Assisted in developing discipleship pathway program for the church

  • Planned and organized new home group for young congregants, and crafted a working structure for future home groups

  • Coordinated advertising with communications team for various happenings within the church

  • Launched a churchwide communication tool through WhatsApp to engage church community

Paul of Tarsus: A Persuasive Analysis

Written for an argumentative writing class, this paper explores Paul's persuasive appeal, from his strong ethos to his wisdom-based logos. The paper focuses on the book 1 Corinthians, chapters one through four, and expounds on the tools Paul used to bring the Corinthians the message of Christ.

A Brief History on The Martyrdom of Polycarp

This is a history paper that is based on the martyrdom of the blessed Polycarp, Bishop of Smyrna in 155CE. This paper shows my ability to write in the genre of historical academic research.

Volunteer Policy Manual

This volunteer policy manual was written for a class. It is based on my local church. The manual is a guide for leaders to maintain a volunteering system. It is a type of governing document showcasing my ability to write administratively.

Rhetorical Art in PBG

Rhetorical Art in PBG is an examination of art rhetoric and on how public art speaks in the community. It explores the diversity of public spaces and how art has influenced lifestyle and community life. This piece was written for my Writing and Rhetoric Foundations class.

Multimodal Composition Analysis: Good King Wencelas

In this text, I explore the rhetorical value of composition. I chose a privately published book from the 1950's to explore the meaning of visual and material rhetoric. In fact, this was one of my favorite pieces to write because it uncovers the deep beauty of compositional effort.

Is There Rational Justifications for Belief in God?

This paper looks into the philosophy of justified belief. Be prepared to dive into the epistemology of religious experience. This paper shows my ability to write philosophically and deeply.

Academic Autobiography

This paper is about my academic career. Written in the Fall of 2024, it showcases my casual writing style. This piece is an example of my human character and the journey that I've been on.

Ukraine Grant Project

I wrote a fictitious grant proposal for a professional writing class. I used real examples of what I believe could have worked out if this were a real application. It was a real challenge, but it turned out great.
